The time of departure is stated in your ticket – it is the time of departure of the bus from the reception. You should come to the reception a bit earlier. If the tourists are coming late, the bus will be waiting for no more than 5 minutes after the time stated in the ticket.
An international diver’s certificate allows you to dive independently in any country of the world, as well as rent diving equipment. To get such a certificate, it is necessary to take a theory course, get training in a swimming pool and make 4 immersions in open water. Open Water Diver certificate allows you to dive together with a mate or with a group of divers to the depth of no more than 18 meters.
Any healthy person above 10 years of age can practice diving if he or she is feeling well and is physically strong. Restrictions may only be placed by medical specialists.
The Dominican Republic features some of the safest coral reefs for diving, but anyway, water is an unusual environment for people, and it is always necessary to follow the instructor’s guidelines during underwater swimming.
Yes, you can use your own camera to take photos and videos. However, diving centers are not responsible for any possible damages suffered by the equipment during underwater swimming.
