If it wasn’t your type of crowd in Manga or you just wanted something more offbeat, then within walking distance from the Mangu club are a few interesting places.
Do you want to see how the Dominicans usually spend free time? Then go to Drink point or El Kan: they are on the same street.
You will hear from a distance loud Latin music and see a lot of dark-skinned bodies, rhythmically moving to the dance. Generally speaking these places are disco-bars for locals. Therefore, you will not hear any European hits: only Latin dances: bachata, merengue and reggaeton.
The entrance to these discotheques is absolutely free and the prices for drinks are very moderate.
But there is one important detail: Be vigilant! Do not take valuables with you. In all places mentioned above, security service is responsible for your protection. In the Drink point and El Kan you need to be on the alert - here you can meet people with dubious reputations.
Both places are located on Avenida Espania street and are open daily from 5 pm to 3 am.
